PSAC`s work on preventing violence against women continues. Our union is proud to have negotiated 10 days of paid leave for domestic violence in all new federal government collective agreements to ensure that those facing domestic violence receive the help they need. We continue to press governments to implement all the recommendations of the report on the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Aboriginal Women and Girls and to remove barriers to access to legal assistance and assistance to women who are victims of violence. When THE PSAC negotiates collective agreements with „separate employers,” these contracts are also taken into account. Payment plans for the Phoenix comparison have not yet been finalized by the Treasury Board and the rating agency. PSAC has reached an interim agreement that provides for a fair increase in wages, no concessions and improved working conditions for the nearly 10,000 members of the TC Group. Most of our members are covered by negotiated agreements between the Treasury Board and our negotiating partner, the Public Service Alliance of Canada.
PSAC combines similar classification groups. The following lists indicate which classifications belong to a particular group. Please note that the Board of Directors moves away from the „Table” nomenclature and identifies employees as members of the group. The PSAC negotiating team unanimously recommends the ratification of the interim agreement. The negotiating team unanimously recommends ratification of the new agreement. The ratification kit, which contains the full text of the preliminary agreement, is now available for download. Members will soon be invited to participate in an online ratification process. Collective agreements will not be updated until they formally enter into force, after both parties have „signed” the document in question. We are nearing the end of the voting period to ratify the new interim agreements for the PA, TC, EB, SV and PSAC-UTE groups. The PSAC held ratification votes for pa, TC, EB and PSAC-UTE members between August 24 and September 29, and from August 31 to October 5 for SV members in each psac region. To have the right to vote, you must: […] The Treasury Board of Directors and the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) provided PSAC with a payment plan for the implementation of monetary provisions following the signing of the PA, EB, TC, SV and PSAC-UTE collective agreements. PSAC is working with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Parks Canada to finalize the text and salary schedules for the new agreements – which were ratified in November – and expects the two new contracts to be signed shortly.
